2025: Developing an ML Solution to Forecast Demand for Craftsman Services

Lemana Tech, together with GlowByte, has developed an ML solution to predict demand for wizard services to balance contractors' resources and reduce failures. Thanks to the system, it was possible to automate manual resource planning, which made it possible to increase the forecast accuracy by 15% for the top 5 categories, increase GVM (gross cost of goods) by 2% by reducing the failure rate, and also free employees from manual analysis. GlowByte announced this on June 20, 2025.

The project covers more than 110 stores of the chain and over 90 categories of services. The solution analyzes more than 350 parameters for each Service Category - Store pair, and to ensure maximum accuracy, separate optimized LightGBM models have been developed for forecasts for 1, 2 and 3 months.

The system analyzes sales of goods, loyalty program data, project sales, measurements, customer conversion, geoanalytics and other factors. The Python stack with Pandas, Scikit-learn, LightGBM and Statsmodels libraries is used to process data and build models, and ML-pipe automation is implemented on the KubeFlow platform, which ensures scalability and reliability of the solution.

As part of the development of the project, Lehman Tech plans to set up automatic distribution of orders among partners, as well as use demand data to predict the risks of missing orders On-time.
