2022: Establishing a Company

On October 11, 2022, it became known about the creation of Leroy Merlin Digital Technologies. This "daughter" of the chain of stores for repair, according to the SPARK-Interfax system, is engaged in software development, and its head is Viktor Kisilenko, who holds the positions of general director in companies in Moscow, Kaliningrad and the Kemerovo region.

According to Vedomosti, retailers have intensified the registration of IT subsidiaries. If such subsidiaries receive accreditation Ministry of Digital Development as IT companies, their employees will be able to receive a deferral from mobilization in accordance with the decision of the Ministry of Defense. On September 23, 2022, the military department announced that certain categories of citizens, including employees of IT companies, were not involved in partial mobilization. As later specified in the Ministry of Digital Development, employees with specialized education working in companies accredited in the register of the ministry can apply for a deferral.

After the start of the special operation, there was the first surge in accreditation of IT companies - in April-March 2022, the number of companies registered in the register of the Ministry of Digital Development more than doubled. At the end of summer, accreditation was temporarily closed. The agency has introduced new accreditation rules: for example, now it can be received by companies whose revenue from IT activities is at least 30%, the publication reports.
