2025: Implementation of the Sherlock Anti-Fraud System
Financial service A Money has strengthened protection against fraudulent attacks using anti-fraud technologies from the Russian developer Smart Engines. The Sherlock anti-fraud system protects against attempts to issue a loan using fake or foreign documents - all data is processed within the secure contour of the platform, excluding the access of outsiders. Smart Engines announced this on July 1, 2025.
Smart Engines automatic technologies provide two-level protection when applying for loans in a mobile application and a web version of the service. Algorithms in real time recognize the data, verify the authenticity of the document and non-biometric method check the photo in the passport with the client's face. This approach speeds up the loan process and makes it as safe as possible.
| We strive to make the service only convenient, but also reliable, so we constantly apply methods to improve the user experience. Smart Engines fully meets the high requirements of our financial service and helps us provide a high level of client service - instantly check applications, while protecting both customers and the service itself from fraudsters. Therefore, when choosing anti-fraud technologies for our team, it was important that the system function as quickly and autonomously as possible, said Georgy Khokhlov, executive director of the Alfa-Bank A MONEY project. |
| It is important for us to offer users a tool to protect against fraudsters in digital service channels. The Smart Engines system allows you to reliably verify your identity using your passport without threatening the security of personal data and biometrics. This makes it possible for businesses not only to quickly check their customers, but also to process applications in any volume without compromises in the field of privacy, "said Vladimir Arlazarov, CEO of Smart Engines, Doctor of Technical Sciences. |
