2025: Arrest
In June 2025, by decision of the Meshchansky District Court of Moscow, Andrei Gorshkov, CEO of the manufacturer of engines for RUMO ships, was arrested under Part 2 of Art. 201 of the Criminal Code "Abuse of authority, entailing grave consequences." The investigation concerns the sale of the building of the state enterprise NIIEUAvtoprom from bankruptcy trading. The investigation believes that Gorshkov, having brought two affiliated firms to the auction and persuaded the bankruptcy trustee, bought the building of the bankrupt state institute at a reduced price, which caused damage to the Federal Property Management Agency.[1]
