2025: Asia Alliance Logistic bought the RUMO plant for ₽1,5 billion

On January 10, 2025, it became known that the Moscow company Asia Alliance Logistic LLC acquired the property complex of the RUMO plant in Nizhny Novgorod for ₽1,5 billion. The transaction was concluded as part of the bankruptcy procedure of the enterprise.

As Interfax writes with reference to the Fedresurs portal, the complex that became the subject of the transaction includes buildings, non-residential premises and the infrastructure of the plant. According to trading data, the starting price was increased 9 times - from ₽165 million to ₽1,5 billion. The winner of the auction was Sergei Borisov, acting as an agent in the interests of Asia Alliance Logistic. The RUMO plant is the only enterprise in Russia capable of producing piston compressors and gas-motor compressors with a capacity of over 1 MW.

OJSC "RUMO" was previously declared bankrupt. At the time of recognition, the debt to creditors amounted to ₽1,86 billion, of which ₽781 million were secured by collateral. The bankruptcy procedure included external management, but this plan was declared invalid by a court decision. During the liquidation, the company sold part of its assets, including equipment, patents and trademarks, which were acquired by RUMO JSC in 2018.

According to the publication, Asia Alliance Logistic LLC was registered in Moscow a year ago with an authorized capital of ₽500 thousand. The founder of the company was Alexander Sandulyak, the main activity is road cargo transportation. The acquisition of the plant's property complex will be a significant step to diversify the company's business.

Eight other applicants participated in the auction for the plant's assets, including Euro-Group JSC and Industrial Park RUMO LLC. JSC Euro-Group, headed by Sergey Panarin, is also associated with the oil and gas industry through a subsidiary of Gaztekhnomash[1]
