2025: Discovery
A new cellular operator has appeared in Crimea. The State Commission on Radio Frequencies (GKRCH) decided to redistribute frequencies for cellular communications on the territory of the Republic of Crimea and the city of federal significance Sevastopol, located on the Crimean peninsula. Frequencies are allocated to Agat JSC and two other operators. This was announced in July 2025 by the Ministry of Digital Development. Agat was registered in Krasnodar in March 2025. The general director is Irina Varlamova.[1]
