Jaguar Land Rover will implement V6 platform from Dassault Systèmes

Jaguar Land Rover and Dassault Systèmes signed the agreement on strategic partnership, having given the official status to future cooperation of the companies.

The agreement signed by Bernard Sharles (Bernard Charlès), the President and the Chief executive officer of Dassault Systèmes company and Doctor Dr. Ralf Speth, the Chief executive officer of Jaguar Land Rover, will allow Jaguar Land Rover to optimize development processes of the car, thanks to tools and the newest digital technologies of realistic three-dimensional modeling from Dassault Systèmes. This cooperation will allow the companies to develop jointly solutions for creation of the advanced cars of the highest quality.

Jaguar Land Rover will implement PLM solution V6 of Dassault Systèmes company for management and control over all development process of cars that will allow to increase efficiency and to simplify this process, thanks to the last innovations and functionality of solutions.

Jaguar Land Rover selected Dassault Systèmes as the exclusive partner in the field of product lifecycle management (PLM) upon termination of the estimated period which lasted 18 months and included the complete analysis of processes, methods, means, information environment of Jaguar Land Rover company.

In addition to support of the existing program systems, development engineers of Dassault Systèmes and Jaguar Land Rover companies will work jointly on creation of the new technologies and solutions allowing to simplify and specialize development process that is so necessary for creation of cars of new generation of a premium class.

The aiming at commonality, innovation and integration of solutions will bring double benefit: significant performance improvement at reduction of cost.

Jaguar Land Rover will implement a complete line of solutions V6 of Dassault Systèmes company, including such advanced brands as: ENOVIA, CATIA, DELMIA, SIMULIA, 3DVIA PLM 2.0.
