18 cars of emergency medical service of Municipal authority of health care "The Gatchina central district clinical hospital" are equipped with the navigation GLONASS equipment within the Social GLONASS project. System implementation of monitoring and control of ambulances was performed thanks to sponsorship of the company "UK "START Development". The GLONASS Northwest company acted as the technical partner of implementation (the official partner of M2M Telematics Group in the Northwest of the Russian Federation).

Implementation of satellite monitors of transport in the field of health care where the account goes for minutes, especially when the call is emergency (for example, at the patient suspicion of cardiac pathology or a stroke of a brain is recorded), is the urgent need. Now all vehicles of the station of emergency medical service will be in Gatchina under control of the manager who will be able to select the next free car for readdressing of a call and to lay a convenient route of the movement that in general will allow to reduce as much as possible the speed of response of crews to the received calls. In April the GLONASS Northwest company equipped with the equipment of a domestic system of satellite observation municipal authority of health care "Station of emergency medical service of Vyborg". Implementation of a pilot project continued from 4/20/2010 to 8/31/2010. Its results exceeded all expectations. Due to improvement of control of work of mobile teams the run of cars in comparison with the same period in 2009 decreased by 81521 km, and fuel consumption on 25320 l. The number of departures of crews up to 4 minutes increased by 14.8%. The average time of waiting of crews decreased in general by 11.8%

GLONASS-obrudovaniyem stations of emergency medical service of the Volosovo, Volkhov, Tikhvin, Vyborg, Lomonosov, Gatchina, Kirov, Luga, Slantsevsky districts are already equipped. Now there is a debugging of a system and gradual connection of other districts of the area.
