In LUKOIL-AIK the project of automation of accounting of MTR on the basis of shaped coding is complete

The ALEKTA company completed the project on automation of an inventory control of the material resources (MR) on the basis of technology of shaped coding of accounting items in the Central warehouse of LUKOIL-AIK Ltd through which supply with material resources of all production business activities of LUKOIL-AIK Ltd is performed.

Project implementation provided increase in efficiency of warehouse economy in LUKOIL-AIK Ltd due to decrease in time expenditure on accomplishment of warehouse transactions (first of all, connected with accounting) and reductions of number of possible accounting errors when using the data collection terminals (DCT).

The project is implemented based on functionality of a subsystem "Management of MTR" of a corporate information system of Nordis/2 and the Mobile Warehouse configuration based on the Mobile Smarts 2008 platform of Kleverens Soft company (www.cleverence.ru) within development of Nordis/2 system in LUKOIL-AIK Ltd.

For successful implementation of expansion of functionality of a corporate information system of Nordis/2 the following works were performed on automation of an inventory control of the material resources (MR) jointly with specialists of the Department of Information Technologies (DIT) and the Central warehouse of LUKOIL-AIK Ltd in 6 months:

• classification of all of MTR which are stored in the Central assignment warehouse to each MTR of the corporate code of the Uniform Nomenclature Reference Book (UNRB) of LUKOIL-AIK Ltd with a possibility of maintaining (for each ENS element) the list of barcodes for automatic identification;
• codification of all warehouse storage locations (CMX) Central warehouse of LUKOIL-AIK Ltd with assignment to every the CMX unique complete code and a barcode for automatic identification;
• registration of all units of warehousing (pallets, boxes) (EU) with assignment of everyone of the EU of the unique code and a barcode for automatic identification;
• data loading about placement of MTR on warehouse storage locations of the Central warehouse of LUKOIL-AIK Ltd;
• installation and setup of the necessary equipment and software - the TSD server and the Mobile Smarts 2008 print server, printers of printing of bar code labels, data collection terminals, the data exchange interface between the server of the shipping documentation Mobile Smarts 2008 and Nordis/2 system and also additional (new) problems of a subsystem Management of MTR of Nordis/2 system;
• development and approval of internal organizational documents (regulations) of LUKOL-AIK Ltd regulating conducting inventory accounting of MTR;
• training and the subsequent consultation during trial operation of personnel of the Central warehouse and specialists of OIT LUKOIL-AIK Ltd in work with new functionality;
• trial operation and transfer to commercial operation.

As a result of successful project implementation of transaction of acceptance, classification and marking, placement, movement, selection, a holiday and inventory are executed by personnel of the Central warehouse of LUKOIL-AIK Ltd using the shipping documentation on the basis of technology of shaped coding of accounting items.
