2025: Production Launch

In the Urals, serial production of floating charging stations for electric river transport began. Perm Shipyard has completed the localization of the production of innovative Ecostation stop complexes, which simultaneously serve as berths and provide recharging of electric ships. This became known on August 20, 2025.

According to the Industrial Development Fund (FRP), the company has invested ₽294 million in the modernization of production facilities. FRP provided a preferential loan of ₽124 million under the Development Projects program for the technical re-equipment of the shipyard.

Production of floating charging stations for river electric ships launched in the Urals

Modernization of production included the purchase and installation of 40 units of modern technological equipment. The new equipment included three bridge cranes, automated welding complexes and painting areas. The main gate of the enterprise's boathouse was also updated.

The Ural Shipyard plans to transfer to the customer a batch of five stopping complexes for the Moscow transport system in September 2025. The series includes four 42-passenger Ecostation D10 modification complexes and one 82-seat Ecostation D16 complex.

Prior to the launch of the new series, the company had already manufactured and commissioned 19 stopping complexes of both modifications. Floating stations are integrated into the route water transport network Moscow and serve the passenger traffic of electric river trams.

After reaching the design capacity, Perm Shipyard intends to produce up to 13 stopping complexes annually. Among the potential customers of the enterprise's products are the governments of Moscow, Perm Territory and other regions developing water transport infrastructure.

Nikolai Malukhin, General Director of Perm Shipyard LLC, noted that the new high-performance equipment made it possible to automate production operations and significantly increase the accuracy of manufacturing products. According to him, the modernization has strengthened the competitiveness of the enterprise and expanded the ability to fulfill complex orders.[1]
