Coverage of more than 600 corporate and industry processes with an ecosystem of 1C ERP-based solutions

Cherkizovo Group, with the support of the B1 Group of Companies, is implementing Michurin's fundamental digital transformation program. The ecosystem of solutions based on 1C ERP, deployed at Cherkizovo pilot enterprises, covers more than six hundred corporate and industry processes in all areas of business. Cherkizovo announced this on November 27, 2025.

The implementation affected more than 2 thousand users and required the coordination of the efforts of the team, uniting about 400 people. B1 acted as a key partner and integrator of the project, organizing end-to-end program management, structured practical guidance, architecture development, implementation of key modules and coordination of all participants.

We abandoned the traditional approach of introducing a monolithic solution for all business areas and, together with the B1 Group of Companies, created a composite industry platform, "said Evgeny Lobanov, Director of the Digital Transformation Department of Cherkizovo Group. - Based on the results of deep analysis, the best domestic IT solutions and global business models were selected. Therefore, in many respects, our innovative platform even surpasses the products of foreign vendors, being as focused on the specifics of the agricultural sector as possible.

The carefully designed architecture of the solution is built on the core of "1C:ERP UX" and includes specialized industry modules: "1C: Poultry," "1S:UMKKMP" for feed mills, "1C: Meat processing MES," "1C:WMS Logistics," as well as "1C: Maintenance and Repair" and "1C: Maintenance and Repair Mobile Team." All components are integrated with other IT systems of the company, forming a single digital space.

Four enterprises were selected for the pilot phase of the transformation program from more than 40 Cherkizovo Group companies, forming two vertically integrated clusters. This made it possible to test the platform on a full production cycle: from the manufacture of feed and poultry cultivation to meat processing and the sale of finished products.

In the created ecosystem on the basis of 1C, regulated accounting, MES- and WMS-blocks have already been launched. Functionality is implemented in the production cycle, corporate and financial circuits in feed production, poultry production, processing, logistics, intra-group operations, accounting, procurement. In the normal mode, key processes are carried out that support the continuity of production, namely: poultry cultivation, production of finished products, shipment and payment.

During the project, not only individual sections are automated, but a digital twin of the entire production and warehouse cycle is created - this allows you to reduce the cost of production, improve quality and comply with state standards of the food industry, increase the speed of fulfillment of orders and make management decisions based on accurate data in real time. Thus, comprehensive optimization of all operational processes takes place.

In order to ensure high-quality project management, the appropriate infrastructure was built and modern tools were used: the SILA Union product for modeling business processes and the Yandex cloud services complex, which became the digital hub of the program.

For our company Michurin, it is not just an implementation project, 1C it is a comprehensive program for transforming the entire business, changing the logic of managing such a complex and distributed structure as our Group, - said the Deputy Director of the Digital Transformation Department (Head of the Michurin Transformation Program) of Cherkizovo Group. - The Elena Dauwalderimplementation of the platform made it possible to unify disparate, business processes increase the reliability of data and the speed of reporting, as well as create a reliable IT frame for further growth. The project covers all key areas of Cherkizovo's activities: from corporate functions - finance, procurement, logistics and - MR to industry segments such as poultry, meat processing, feed production.

As a result of the implementation of the system solution, the traceability of the production cycle is ensured: the depth of automation allows you to track the parameters of quality, quantity of products produced, as well as manage cost indicators. For example, in the Quality segment, end-to-end control is performed from feed to finished products, including automatic recording of laboratory samples and blocking of raw material batches. This allows you to accurately determine who, when and what changes made to the system, ensuring the transparency and reliability of data throughout the production cycle.

The priority goal of the Michurin program is to address the key objectives of Cherkizovo Group, taking into account the long-term development strategy. This is necessary to improve process manageability while reducing operating costs and further scaling the business with access to new markets. ERP implementation is always the starting point for deep reengineering. And it is especially important for us that the transformation of processes was carried out taking into account the desired result, and did not adapt to the current state. This indicates a significant level of maturity of our client and the company's readiness to B1 meet high expectations for transformation, - said Mark Gililov, partner of the B1 Group of Companies, head of business consulting.

The Michurin program is designed until 2028. The model developed at the pilot enterprises will be scaled to the largest legal entities of Cherkizovo Group, and the platform will become the foundation for the introduction of new digital solutions, including the development of crop and pig production modules.

Start of development of the ERP system "Michurin"

In 2024, the Cherkizovo agro-industrial group began developing the Michurin ERP system, a single digital platform that will unite all divisions of the group. This is stated in the company's sustainability report, which TAdviser got acquainted with in September 2025.

In the reporting period, the development of the solution architecture was completed, project documentation was prepared, the processes of testing the system and transferring data from previous accounting systems were launched, and a list of organizational changes was registered and work on their implementation began.

The volume of investments in the project for 2024 amounted to about 400 million rubles, the data are given in the report.

The new ERP system, apparently named after the outstanding Russian biologist and breeder Ivan Vladimirovich Michurin, standardizes key processes: from production management to financial accounting. The solution automates routine operations, helps to build uniform standards of work, improves the skills of employees and provides prompt access to analytical data. And for the company's management, the new system is designed to become an important tool that can provide accurate analytics for making strategic decisions - entering new markets and developing a business.

Cherkizovo is introducing a new ERP system

Judging by the fact that we are talking about a single ERP platform, Michurin will replace SAP, which was introduced from 2014-2015. In 2019, Cherkizovo and SAP even signed a strategic partnership agreement:... "cooperation with SAP allows us to be sure that we are using the best world practices, adapting them to our own specifics...," Cherkizovo CEO Sergei Mikhailov[1] noted then will [2]SAP[3].

On the basis of which product the Michurin ERP is being created, the company could not clarify TAdviser at the time of publication of this material, as well as answer other directed questions related to import substitution.

It looks like the project is using "1C." For example, TAdviser noted that in the current open vacancies of Cherkizovo, a senior business expert requires experience in implementing 1C: ERP/1C: YX/1C: WMS and in-depth knowledge of these[4].

Earlier, First Bit developed an IT strategy based on 1C for Cherkizovo. Information about this was contained on the company's website, but was then deleted. The management of Cherkizovo Group faced a difficult task - to build a single, scalable and sustainable digital platform that can unite all areas of business.

Before the start of the project, the company did not have a centralized approach to automation. Different lines of business used different systems: some worked on SAP, others - on local configurations based on "1C." This led to fragmentation of data, duplication of accounting and difficulties in consolidating reporting. In the context of tightening import substitution requirements and digital independence, management began to consider the possibility of switching to a domestic platform that can become a single basis for the entire group of companies, - said in the description of the case on the First Bit website[5] agro-industrial[6]

Cherkizovo's sustainability report states that 15 specialized systems, including MES (real-time production operations management), LIMS (laboratory information and process management system), WMS (warehouse management system) and others, will be phased in over the next four years.

And in the description of the case on the site "First Bit" it was clarified that a detailed plan for the transition for 8 years was formed, including stages, priorities, deadlines and responsible, which became the basis for the gradual and controlled implementation of a single platform at all enterprises of the holding. According to the plan, over 3.5 thousand users will work with the new ERP in the future.

The First Bit company clarified to TAdviser that the project to develop an IT strategy based on 1C for Cherkizovo was completed at the end of December 2023.

Together, in 2024, Cherkizovo Group of Companies spent 795 million rubles on projects to develop and implement Russian solutions of different classes, data are provided in the company's report. In 2022, the same figure was 225 million rubles.
