KAMA, the developer of the first Russian serial electric car Atom, has entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with the Radioelectronic Technologies Concern (KRET) to create an all-Russian infrastructure of charging stations for electric vehicles. The partnership is aimed at forming a full-fledged ecosystem in Russia for comfortable use of electric vehicles with the adaptation of high-power charging stations to the specifications of a domestic electric car. The conclusion of the strategic alliance was announced by the press service of Rostec on September 25, 2025.
Concern "Radioelectronic Technologies" is one of the key Russian manufacturers of charging infrastructure for electric transport. Combining the efforts of the two companies is designed to popularize the use of electric vehicles in the country and provide owners with the necessary infrastructure for charging vehicles.
Oleg Yevtushenko, executive director of the Rostec state corporation, described the partnership as a strategic step to unite the efforts of the two leaders in the field of electric transport. According to him, the goal of cooperation is not just to sell charging stations, but to create an integrated environment for the development of electric transport in the country with the proposal of a single turnkey technological solution.
As part of the agreement, high-power charging stations KRET will be specially adapted to the technical specifications of the Atom electric car. Such integration guarantees owners reliable, fast and safe charging without the risk of equipment incompatibility between different systems and protocols.
The companies plan a coordinated deployment of charging infrastructure in the most convenient places for owners of electric vehicles. Electric charging stations will appear on key highways, in large cities and logistics hubs to ensure maximum coverage of the country.[1]
