In the receiver (SPIRIT of the GLONASS GPS of Supersensitive Software Receiver) the concept of program radio (SDR) is implemented. Its main advantages - very high sensitivity (up to-170 dBm in the tracking mode) and fast start (TTFF) in the Assisted mode. Thanks to special algorithms of noise cutoff (EMI) the program SPIRIT receiver significantly exceeds on reliability of navigation in the difficult environment, including positioning in premises (indoor), all commercial GPS existing in the world and the GLONASS GPS receivers.
The receiver includes the navigation software (S) for the netbook for $400 based on the Intel processor Atom or ARM Cortex and a radio-frequency USB frontend (RFFE) with the antenna. Program sale of the receiver from the Russian producer allows to use GLONASS positioning on notebooks, netbooks, smartphones and other mobile devices with Internet access, for popular consumer services such as social networks.
The supersensitive SPIRIT receiver is capable to accept strongly weakened signals, being in city or natural canyons or in premises when normal navigation receivers do not work absolutely because do not see satellites. It allows to use software of SPIRIT in the different applications connected with position fix: personal or automobile navigation and support of web services in 3G networks.
