Biography

2025: Appointment as General Director of the National Medical Research Center named after Ak. E.N. Meshalkina

On October 8, 2025, Evgeny Tarasyuk was appointed to the post of Director General of the National Medical Research Center (NMIC) named after Academician E.N. Meshalkin. In this position, he replaced Alexander Chernyavsky, whose powers were terminated on the basis of a letter of resignation of his own free will.

Tarasyuk graduated from the Amur Medical Academy in 2011. He is a doctor of the highest category. He has certificates in the specializations "Health Organization and Public Health," "Cardiovascular Surgery," "X-ray Endovascular Diagnosis and Treatment," "General Surgery." In 2022, he received his second higher education in the direction of "State and Municipal Administration" at the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation (RANEPA).

Previously, Tarasyuk for five years led the University Clinic of Cardiac Surgery of the Amur State Medical Academy. In addition, he headed the Amur Regional Clinical Hospital.
