In one of the largest domestic industrial holdings - TechnoNIKOL - started the project of process optimization of management of maintenance and repairs of the equipment according to the best practices in the field of a MRO. The project is implemented by specialists of Datastream Solutions CIS company and is a part of own program of TechnoNIKOL Corporation for implementation of the concept of lean production directed to minimization of unproductive costs and increase in overall performance of the enterprise.

The TechnoNIKOL corporation makes and delivers a broad spectrum of construction materials and includes 35 production sites located in the territory of Russia and the Neighboring countries. The decision on a project startup of rationalization of processes of a MRO is dictated by need of taking measures to decrease in unplanned idle times of the numerous equipment of the plants of the company. Reliability augmentation and operational readiness of production assets of TechnoNIKOL Corporation - one of the most important tasks of the company.

For implementation of a pilot project of optimization of a MRO in TechnoNIKOL Corporation the TECHNO plant (Zainsk) owing to the geographical location important in terms of providing clients with mineral isolation was selected from regions of the Volga region, the South and the Urals. The project received the name "Reliability Augmentation of Technology Equipment and Decrease in Idle Times in Its Work at the TECHNO Plant" and assumes implementation of modern techniques of planning, accounting and the analysis in the field of maintenance and repairs and also use of the IT tool for control and effective management of these processes.

Understanding advantages of strategy of repairs "on a status", the Corporation assumes to pass from scheduled preventive maintenance to higher level of management of activity of a MRO on the basis of actual state of the equipment. Among other project objectives on MRO process optimization at the TECHNO plant - decrease in operating costs, reduction of labor costs and optimization of logistics under repairs.

Assigned tasks are supposed to be solved due to increase in level and quality of the organization of works on a MRO, implementation of modern diagnostic aids of a condition of equipment, creation of an effective purchasing system, accounting of the movement and use of spare parts and inventory items. The TechnoNIKOL corporation also selected the tool using which tasks of improvement of a system of maintenance and repairs will be solved. The company management stopped on the solution Infor EAM capable to consider unique requirements of the sphere of industrial production and widely used in the industry.

The choice for benefit of the solution Infor EAM is caused by its broad functionality important for TechnoNIKOL Corporation. Using Infor EAM the uniform base on the equipment containing all history on processes of maintenance and repairs will be created. The wide planning horizon of diagrams of service and purchases and also forecasting and budgeting of costs for a MRO will become possible. A possibility of maintaining in a system of accounting of actual state of the equipment in real time and status monitoring of warehouse stocks are especially relevant for TechnoNIKOL Corporation where implementation of strategy of repairs "on a status" is planned.

The solution Infor EAM will be applied in TechnoNIKOL company according to the SaaS model which is assuming lease of ready jobs and not demanding from the company of investments in hardware-software providing. The hosting is provided with Datastream Solutions CIS company.
