2023: Move to Primo RPA

VTB Bank (Belarus) began implementing RPA in 2020 in order to reduce manual operations and increase the efficiency of internal processes. The project has become part of the bank's digitalization strategy.

To develop the direction, they created an internal team of four people - a leader and three developers. The team conducts a full cycle of work: from analysis and design to support solutions in production.

Initially, the bank used the foreign platform Blue Prism, in 2023 it switched to Primo RPA as part of the import substitution program. When choosing a platform, the key factors were the convenience of development, the stability of technical support, the availability of training and the speed of pilot launch. Within a month, the bank transferred about 12 processes to the Russian platform.

Now the bank has three robots that automate about 18 processes: processing user and international payments, notifying customers about the status of applications, checking individual entrepreneurs and candidates when hiring. As a result, up to 95% of operations are performed without errors, and the processing time has been reduced from several days to several hours.
