2025: Product Announcement

At the end of October 2025, the Russian company Gumich RTK presented the Impulse-Air Defense robotic air defense complex. This vehicle carries on board special interceptor drones designed to combat low-flying unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

The Pulse-Air Defense complex is made on the Pulse-M tracked chassis. This platform is just over two metres long. On a horizontal surface, the device is capable of transporting goods weighing up to 1 ton, and on a trailer it pulls up to 1.5 tons. The tracked chassis is highly reliable and maintainable in the field. The robot can continue to move without several rollers.

The Russian army received a wheel robot "Impulse-Air Defense" with interceptor drones

The Impulse-Air Defense vehicle received eight interceptors placed in special containers. These anti-aircraft drones without a warhead hit drones with a kinetic strike, that is, a direct hit. Interceptors are equipped with an optoelectronic module with artificial intelligence, which allows you to capture and accompany the target. Such a "shell" weighing 1.35 kg is capable of reaching speeds of up to 200 km/h. It is claimed that interceptors can shoot down devices flying at speeds of up to 60 km/h.

Various combat modules can also be mounted on the Impulse-M platform, including anti-tank with missiles. The robot can be used to deliver anti-tank mines and various cargoes. In addition, the tracked vehicle is suitable for the evacuation of wounded from the battlefield. In the "Impulse-M" complex, various types of communication with the operator are implemented, which provides high immunity to interference in the operating conditions of the enemy electronic warfare systems (electronic warfare). AI elements and a vision system allow the robot to independently return to base in case of loss of communication.[1]
