Biography
1986-2023
Gerasimov was born in Moscow on December 31, 1985. In 2009 he graduated from the Moscow State Technical University named after N.E. Bauman. Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department. Until 2015, he was engaged in scientific, educational and commercial activities in the structural divisions of the named university. From 2015 to 2020, he served as Deputy Minister of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications of the Moscow Region. In subsequent years, he held senior positions in commercial organizations.
Gerasimov was appointed to the post of deputy head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in January 2023. In this post, he was responsible for the digital transformation of the department, overseeing the activities of the Department of Information Technology and Communications. He was awarded departmental awards by the EMERCOM of Russia and the FSTEC of Russia, as well as insignia and diplomas of the Governor of the Moscow Region, the Ministry of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications of the Moscow Region.
2025: Emptying the EMERCOM Digital Transformation Officer
Anton Gerasimov was relieved of his post as deputy head of the Russian Emergencies Ministry. The corresponding decree was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin on November 5, 2025.
