The ABAK-PRESS publishing house implements the system of the business analysis

The Softline company completed an implementation project of a system of the business analysis (BI) for ABAK-PRESS publishing house. The platform of implementation is Microsoft Analysis Services.

Background

In "ABACUS-PRESS" for monitoring and sales planning data of information systems were used 1C and CRM. At the same time in 1C sales planning at the top level of detailing irrespective of a system was performed CRM that created difficulties at detailed planning of process control of sales.

Solution

The solution is constructed based on Microsoft Analysis Services which is a part of the Microsoft SQL Server. A core of a system is the storage of databases where all information which is transformed to a uniform format – an OLAP cube arrives (from engl. OLAP – On-line Analytical Processing).

Implementation

Using the unrolled hardware and software system process of data collection was optimized from 1C and CRM and also the convenient reporting system allowing the management to work independently with key indicators of sales in the online-mode is created. Advantage of the project is its rather small cost which allows to pay back completely during the short time frame investments into it.

Specialists of Softline will unroll the unique software package integrating accounting systems into the companies and giving to the head an opportunity independently without the address to the IT specialist, to create reports, to watch sales levels, to analyze the reasons of deviations key indicators online.

Results

Results of functioning of a system of the business analysis the client was satisfied.
