Levoberezhny Bank has completed the modernization of the core of the data center network with the replacement of Cisco equipment with domestic solutions from the manufacturer Eltex. Infrastructure renewal was a key part of the financial institution's transition to Russian technological solutions and the elimination of risks associated with the use of outdated and unsupported equipment. This was announced on November 19, 2025 by the press service of Computers and Networks, which was engaged in the implementation of the project.

Previously, the core of the bank's server switching was built on the basis of the Cisco ACI platform. Despite the advanced functionality, the equipment has reached the limit of its performance and reliability. The termination of official support in Russia significantly increased operational risks.

Anatoly Perminov, project manager of Computers and Networks Group of Companies, noted that according to the results of market analysis, the company recommended that the customer upgrade based on Eltex equipment. According to him, the switches and monitoring software of this manufacturer are the optimal combination of the level of technological development with the registry status. This was one of the defining criteria when choosing a solution.

At the design stage, the company's specialists analyzed the existing infrastructure, developed a target network architecture for the data center and prepared a plan for migrating the server fleet to a new core. A comprehensive approach minimized risks when moving to a new platform.

During the implementation, the engineering team successfully tested new equipment and completed a set of commissioning activities. The bank's services were switched in the absence of downtime. This is critical for a financial institution that can't afford customer service breaks.

Pavel Trubachev, director of banking technology development, member of the board of Levoberezhny Bank, noted that it is critical for the organization that all remote and office services work stably and without failures. According to him, this applies to the entire range of operations - from settlements of legal entities to daily operations of private clients.
