Kontron CP-HDD-S-KIT

Using the Kontron CP-HDD-S-KIT device OEM manufacturing and system integrators will be able to build powerful and reliable disk RAIDs in such applications as video surveillance, image processing and the information and entertaining systems (in the systems of format 3U and 6U CompactPCI). Modules of data storage CP-HDD-S-KIT without problems are integrated into the existing CompactPCI-configurations that allows to reduce costs for development and to reduce time of an output of an applied system for the market.

CP-HDD-S-KIT is focused on application in severe conditions of operation and meets requirements to udaro-and vibration resistances of railway EN50155 standard. In a configuration the device is capable to work with solid state drives in the expanded temperature range from-40 to +85 °C. Payments carriers are put into a strong aluminum framework and can carry 2.5" HDD or solid state drives. For increase in mechanical reliability the unifying panel is optionally pulled together with two metal pins.

The modules CP-HDD-S-KIT support 2.5" HDD or solid state drives. The ready-made solution includes one or two such payments and also a unifying panel. The set is universal, is characterized by the increased reliability and can be established in 19" the CompactPCI-body of height 3U or 6U. Such flexibility does CP-HDD-S-KIT suitable for the most different transport, defense, space and industrial applications.

On a frontal panel the LEDs signaling about activity and errors are located. Support of the mode of "hot" replacement allows to perform maintenance of a system in the course of its work. For ensuring high writing rates and data reading CP-HDD-S-KIT supports Serial ATA II technology.
