History

2021: COM-HPC Server Class Computer-on-Module Standard Support

On December 17, 2020, it became known that RTSoft and Kontron, an international holding company, announced support for the COM-HPC server-class computer-on-module standard. More details here.

2010: Acquisition of AP Labs Group

In July 2010, the company acquired the AP Labs Group (California, USA). The main activities of AP Labs Group are development, production and system integration in the field of defense and aerospace applications. Founded in 1984, AP Labs Group holds a strong position in high-tech markets for sophisticated on-board electronic equipment. Long-term customers of AP Labs are many well-known world brands: Boeing, BAE Systems, Raytheon, MITRE, L3, General Dynamics, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, NASA, etc. The new acquisition of Kontron will further strengthen the holding's serious position in various military and aerospace markets in North America, Europe and Asia. Earlier, in 2008, Kontron acquired the electronic company Thales Computers SA, part of the Thales Group, whose products, along with the holding's own product lines in Europe, made Kontron a first-three player in the markets of combat computer embedded systems.
