Biography
2013-2024
Irina Tukhvatullina graduated in 2013 THMU with a degree in Medical Affairs, in 2014 - an internship with a degree in Pediatrics. In 2019, she received additional education and a certificate in the specialty "Organization health care and Public Health."
According to the Governor of the Sakhalin Region Valery Limarenko, Tukhvatullina's total work experience in the medical field exceeds 15 years. In particular, she worked as a pediatrician at the Children's Clinical Hospital No. 1 in Vladivostok. In December 2022, she was appointed chief physician of the Khankai Central District Hospital (CRH), and in 2024 she became the head of the Dolinsky Central Regional Hospital named after N.K. Orlova. Later, she was selected for the personnel reserve of the Sakhalin Region to fill senior positions.
2025: Appointment as Minister of Health of Sakhalin Oblast
On November 28, 2025, Irina Tukhvatullina was appointed Acting Minister of Health of the Sakhalin Region. In this position, she replaced Vladimir Kuznetsov, who headed the department since July 2020 and left the post in connection with the transition to a new job - he became the rector of the Pacific State Medical University (TSMU).
