Education

Vladimir Kuznetsov graduated from the Vladivostok State Medical University (later renamed the Pacific State Medical University) with a degree in anesthesiologist-resuscitator.

Biography

2004-2007

Kuznetsov worked as the head physician of the ambulance station, in Vladivostok 2004 he headed the Office health care of the city administration. In 2007, he became deputy head of Vladivostok, in 2008 - vice-rector of the Pacific State Medical University.

2011-2012

In 2011-2012, Vladimir Kuznetsov was the director of the Health Department of the Primorsky Territory. Before being appointed Minister of Health of the Sakhalin Region, he worked as Vice-Rector of TSMU, where he carried out "direct management" of medical work and international activities.

2020: Appointment as Minister of Health of Sakhalin Oblast

On July 17, 2020, Vice-Rector of the Pacific State Medical University Vladimir Kuznetsov was appointed Minister of Health of the Sakhalin Region. This was reported by the press service of the regional government.

By the decision of Governor Valery Limarenko, Vladimir Kuznetsov was appointed head of the Sakhalin Oblast Ministry of Health. The new head of the department arrived on the island from Vladivostok, the message says.

It also states that in the Sakhalin Region, Vladimir Kuznetsov will have to continue the course taken on behalf of the head of the region to modernize medical institutions, develop international cooperation in the field of health care, and resolve issues of availability of medical care. Kuznetsov will begin his duties on July 20, 2020.

As head of the Ministry of Health of the Sakhalin Region, Vladimir Kuznetsov replaced Muscovite Vladimir Yushchuk, who was appointed governor one of the six deputy chairmen of the regional government.

Previously, Kuznetsov headed various medical institutions of the Primorsky Territory, and also served as the head of the regional health department.[1]
