2025: Dion Platform Rollout
IRB Family transferred more than 2,500 of its employees to the domestic corporate communications platform DION (IT holding T1). The transition made it possible to provide stable and secure communication for franchisee-owned restaurants located in more than 140 cities of the country, and reduce the cost of owning the VKS system compared to the previous decision by 30%. This was announced by T1 on December 19, 2025.
After the foreign vendor left the Russian market, the IRB Family IT department was looking for a Russian platform that meets the requirements of reliability, fault tolerance and scalability. In addition, it was important for IRB Family to guarantee a stable quality of communication even with the low speed of Internet channels in restaurants in remote regions and support for document collaboration up to mass gatherings with up to 5,000 employees. After testing a number of solutions, the DION platform from the NOTA vendor was chosen, which fully met all the stated requirements of the company.
Full-scale implementation was implemented in a short time - in just two weeks. This was made possible by a number of platform advantages: cloudy SaaS a model that avoided complex installation procedures and an intuitive interface that simplified the learning process and allowed teams to immediately start productive work. Throughout the project, the customer received comprehensive support from NOTA vendor and partner Krayon when setting up integrations with internal systems.
The introduction of DION made it possible to provide IRB Family with highly secure communication with end-to-end encryption for more than 2,500 employees of the management company and restaurant managers throughout Russia, as well as create an infrastructure for holding mass events and training webinars for 10,000 network employees. The functionality familiar to employees ensured seamless migration to a safe domestic solution.
{{quote 'For a distributed network of hundreds of restaurants, stable connectivity is the foundation of operations. In such conditions, communication failures directly affect the uninterrupted operation of restaurants and the satisfaction of guests. We understand this and see a growing demand from large businesses for comprehensive and robust communications solutions that can be quickly deployed across the country. The successful implementation of DION in IRB Family proves that our platform is fully ready to operate in distributed companies with thousands of employees, providing significant savings for the business - said Roman Cherednikov, director of the DION corporate communications platform project portfolio. }}
| It was fundamentally important for us that every employee - from a manager at HQ to a manager at a restaurant on the other side of the country - could stay in touch, feel part of a big team and do their jobs without delay or disruption. The transition to DION was seamless for us, largely thanks to the support of our partners in Craion. We retained the usual format of work, ensured stable communication and thereby supported the uninterrupted operation of the entire network, - said Alexander Karasev, Chief information officer of IRB Family. |
