Service transport of the Caucasian branch of MegaFon is equipped with the monitoring GLONASS/GPS system SCOUT

The SCOUT group announces end of the large-scale project on monitoring GLONASS/GPS system implementation on service cars of the Caucasian branch of MegaFon. According to the results of the project the monitoring system SCOUT equips 543 vehicles of mobile operator.

For the purpose of providing the high level of service and optimization of work of vehicle fleet and also increased security on transport, in 2010 the management of the Caucasian branch of MegaFon made the decision on equipment of all vehicle fleet of the company by the system of satellite monitoring. Specialists of branch carried out contrastive analysis of work of different monitoring systems. Based on testing preference was given to a system SCOUT.

As noted, a system SCOUT showed such functional advantages as a possibility of the automatic notification on an input and an exit from the predeterminated objects, about speeding, about unauthorized parking. In the program the flexible system of interactive reports, and the clear interface of the software is implemented.

As initially the project assumed a wide territorial scope, specialists of the Caucasian branch of MegaFon, responsible for the project, made the decision to install at the same time in 8 cities. The partners of SCOUT group conducting the activity in the territory of North Caucasus region were connected to technical work.
