2026: Launch of a fully automated poultry farm for 100 thousand heads in the Kirov region. Robots feed chickens and pack eggs
In January 2026, a fully automated poultry house for 100 thousand chickens was commissioned at the Vyatsko-Polyanskaya poultry farm in the Kirov region. The new production building was the fourth facility with such capacity, built at the enterprise as part of a large-scale modernization, which has been underway since 2022.
The structure was erected using modern building materials - sandwich panels, which provide effective thermal insulation. The design capacity of the facility is about 84 thousand eggs daily.
Special robotic systems without the participation of personnel regulate the microclimate, feed the bird and collect eggs. In addition, the automatic line performs sorting and packaging of products. Control over the operation of the entire set of equipment in the poultry house is carried out by one poultry operator.
The administration of the Vyatskopolyansky municipal district said that the consistent expansion of production capacities transformed the enterprise into a modern agro-industrial cluster. Nadezhda Sherstneva, deputy head of the Vyatskopolyansky district administration for economics and finance, congratulated the factory staff on this important event and wished them success in implementing the ambitious plans of the enterprise.
The regional Ministry of Agriculture and Food praised the project to introduce an automated line at the factory. The modernization of agricultural enterprises, according to the department, makes a significant contribution to the development of the economy of the Kirov region and corresponds to the goals of the national project "Technological support of food security." The introduction of new high-tech capacities will allow the company to increase the total production of egg products and strengthen its position in the market.[1]
