2026: InStock WMS Implementation

InStock WMS has been implemented at BINOM's warehouse. InStock Technologies (In-Stock Technologies) announced this on February 12, 2026.

Binom has been a company selling auto parts for domestic and imported cars in the Udmurt Republic and neighboring regions. The company has been supplying high-quality spare parts, oils, auto chemistry and auto accessories on the Russian market since 1996. More than 40,000 items of goods are stored in the company's warehouse.

Binom has its own retail set, which includes 24 stores in 4 regions as of February 2026, as well as a distribution center with an area of ​ ​ 3200 m ².

To ensure accurate smooth operation, a modern warehouse management system is needed, capable of ensuring accurate accounting, error-free and timely shipment of goods.

The project uses several types of product acceptance to optimize further placement processes. At the stage of working out the terms of reference, multiple rules for accounting, storage and selection for different groups of goods were spelled out.

In the orders of some counterparties, special conditions may apply, for example, when ordering tires, the production date is important not earlier than a certain date, for oils, battery chemistry, the remaining shelf life and production date are important.

Therefore, batch accounting is used for certain articles.

• By date of production.
• By Expiration Date

The company's warehouse is divided into zones by groups of goods, InStock WMS , based on data the goods received during acceptance, determines storage cells taking into account the remaining volume of the cell, load on the shelf and beam.

The project uses three types of shipments:

• Standard shipment
• FBO marketplaces
• FBS marketplaces

Total and cluster takeoffs are used depending on the merchandise category and shipping types. Moreover, for goods shipped to marketplaces, there are their own features when selecting and packing in accordance with the requirements of marketplaces.

To optimize selection, the InStock WMS system manages the timely replenishment of cells with goods before sending tasks to the selection.

The project has goods with compound articles - for example, the Trunk consists of beams and fasteners.

A composite article is an item stored in a warehouse, one item of goods on several pallets or in several cells.

InStock WMS automates the selection of components and shipment of kits.

As a result of the introduction of the InStock WMS system, the most accurate accounting of all goods in the warehouse has been achieved, work has been established with goods marked with the Honest Sign, the speed and accuracy of selecting goods have been increased, taking into account the requirements of different counterparties and marketplaces.
