2026: Death after admission at Elmas Clinic

On January 4, 2026, 38-year-old Russian blogger Yulia Burtseva died in Moscow after a cosmetic procedure. The tragedy happened at a branch of the Elmas Clinic.

According to the investigation, the woman underwent surgery to increase her buttocks. During medical manipulations, the patient allegedly developed anaphylactic shock. Despite emergency hospitalization and resuscitation measures, Burtsev could not be saved.

The blogger regularly visited Russia to visit her relatives in Samara and undergo routine medical examinations.

On the morning of January 4, she published materials from the capital's cafe, and then went to the clinic. The reason for the choice of the Moscow medical center, according to her previously published estimates, could be a lower cost of cosmetic services compared to Italian clinics.
