Large businesses increasingly need geoservices for the digitalization of logistics and analytics, which work in isolated IT circuits and meet the requirements of the FSTEC and the FSB. Often, customers have solved such problems using cloud or open source solutions - but they are limited in functionality and technological independence. Softline Solutions became a partner of the project for adapting the 2GIS IT infrastructure for such scenarios - thanks to its experience in import-independent IT projects, expertise in working with corporate customers and leading Russian vendors.

Softline Solutions organized the pilot, built a direct dialogue with vendors and took over the coordination of all stages - from consultations to testing. Also, IT company specialists conducted an analysis of the domestic software market and a multi-stage assessment of technologies. 2GIS tested API and SDK services separately on import-substituted components - including the OS, image storage and the Boatsman containerization platform. Separately, the team tested compatibility with Arenadata Group solutions: Arenadata QuickMarts DBMS (ADQM), Picodata (PD) and Arenadata Streaming Instant Messaging (ADS). After successful tests, the specialists formed an MVP plan and conducted a comprehensive test of the entire platform on a new infrastructure. Customers now have a ready-made 2GIS geoservices solution that can be deployed on non-import-dependent components.

The partner addressed the task - complete import substitution of platform infrastructure components. We connected as a technology consultant: we helped to choose compatible solutions, build interaction with vendors and organize a pilot. Thanks to the well-coordinated work of all participants, the project quickly entered the testing stage. The system passed the necessary checks and confirmed its stable operation in the new environment, - said Elena Kormanovskaya, lead manager of the key customer service department at Softline Group of Companies.

Together with our partners, we ensured the functioning of a number of 2GIS services - maps, search and navigation - in closed circuits of customer companies based on an independent import infrastructure. Business is growing demand for geotechnology, for example, for spatial analytics.
