Rostelecom has transferred orders for the production of set-top boxes from China to Russia

The Digital Television Systems plant (NPO CTS) shipped the first batch of Wink Box Mini set-top boxes for Rostelecom. The production of devices previously produced exclusively in China has been moved to the Kaliningrad region. This was announced on March 5, 2026 by the press service of the investment and industrial holding GS Group, which includes CTS.

The total weight of the debut delivery was 8 tons - this is 21.5 thousand. Smart set-top boxes. Two heavy trucks were required for transportation. The plant plans to ship about 50 thousand more devices to the customer.

Serial assembly of Wink Box Mini started at the CTS facilities at the end of December 2025. The production line is operating at a high pace: the company is capable of producing up to 2.4 thousand devices daily. One product leaves the conveyor every 15-20 seconds. More than 70 employees are involved in the order execution process.

The technological feature of the product is the built-in integration with the Wink platform, which allows you to access the content library and personal recommendations for a single subscription. The device is focused on ease of setup and intuitive control.
