The SAFECLASS company, developer and equipment manufacturer, certified in April, 2011 the wearable terminals of the GAMMA series held for use in networks of a professional radio communication TETRA. The equipment will be issued at capacities of the company in Russia.

GAMMA terminals are held for use in networks of a mobile radio communication of the TETRA standard and on the radio access networks as the end subscriber device.

The certified wearable GAMMA terminals correspond to the Rules of application of subscriber radio stations of networks of a mobile radio communication of the TETRA standard approved by the Order of the Ministry of information technologies and communications of the Russian Federation of 8/22/2006 to No. 107, Rules of use of the equipment of a radio access for wireless data transmission in the range from 30 MHz to 66 GHz approved by the Order of the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation of 9/14/2010 No. 124.

Subscriber GAMMA devices solve a problem of ensuring communication between different user groups of TETRA network, provide prioritizing of calls and wire level protection.

Wearable TETRA terminals are developed for the benefit of special services of the emergency reaction, such as Ministry of Emergency Situations, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ambulance, state structures, transport services (the airports, stations, the subways) and also industrial enterprises and other organizations which are interested in the high-quality equipment for the systems of a professional radio communication of TETRA.

The functionality of the equipment provides acceptance and transfer of voice information and data. The terminal works in the modes of trunking communication (TMO), direct link (DMO) and a DMO repeater of type 1A (DM-REP1A). Function of wireless data transmission according to standard 802.15 is implemented.

The GAMMA terminal has the shock-resistant body with the level of protection of IP 55, maintains falling from height of 3 m, is held for use in any, including a corrosive environment of the external environment.

The color Russified LCD display of 30x38 mm with the resolution of 176х220 pixels gives the chance to cover 6 lines of the text on 24 characters (approximately corresponds to one offer), the wide angle of the overview and support of 262 thousand flowers allows to browse maps and other images easily.

The loudspeaker located on a frontal panel provides a powerful, clear sound even in the conditions of the increased noise.

Power of a radio channel is configured about 1.8 W that provides a reliable communication and considerably expands a coverage.

The wearable exchange service stations GAMMA save the operating parameters in storage conditions and transportation at a temperature from - 400C to + 700C, a relative humidity to 93%. Operation is performed at a temperature from - 300C to + 600C and a relative humidity up to 93%.

Safeclass plans mass release of wearable GAMMA terminals in June of the current year on own production capacities of the company in Russia. Wearable terminals of the TETRA standard will become addition of a series of the products GAMMA which already includes stationary and mobile terminals.
