History
2022: Offer of subsidies for the supply of goods for special operation in Ukraine for startups
At the end of September 2022, residents of the Strogino technopark received a letter offering to supply goods for the Russian military special operation in Ukraine. Such companies will be able to count on financial support.
According to Forbes, Strogino asks residents to indicate in the table what kind of products the company produces, whether it is ready to supply it for the needs of the "special operation" and to what extent, as well as on what conditions it wants to expand supplies and financing.
One of the residents of the technopark told the publication that he has been supplying his products for the needs of the special operation since February 2022 - through the public procurement website, as well as as a private initiative (for example, as humanitarian aid). According to the interlocutor, the company "in general terms" responded to the proposal of the technopark, but the decision on whether to apply for support will be made when specific conditions appear.
A source close to the Moscow City Hall says the leadership of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovation was really interested in whether small companies and startups "that do something useful" needed help. However, the department did not plan to give any specific initiatives related to subsidies for the "special operation," the Forbes source said. According to him, it was an initiative of "individual employees" who had already "received a remark for arbitrariness."
The source suggested that for the purposes of the "special operation" the department and the technopark are interested in enterprises from the field of telecommunications, medical and biotechnical products, as well as manufacturers. drones Nikita Istomin, a lawyer, agreed with this and Roskomsvobody added that in the future companies that make materials for the production of aviation, cars and personal protective equipment will be in demand.[1]
