The solution IBM mCommerce Appliance Solution is intended to financial institutions, mobile operators and the enterprises.
IBM POWER7 processors form a basis of this new device developed for the purpose of acceleration of global deployment – both on developing, and in the settled markets – exhaustive opportunities of a mobile commerce, including the mBanking, mPayments and mRemmitance systems.
IBM mCommerce Appliance Solution, being industry-first integrated solution for a mobile commerce (mCommerce), can also help clients with use of intellectual bank business applications from different mobile devices, such as tablet computers and smartphones based on the operational IOS, BlackBerry and Android platforms. According to the forecast of Gartner analytical company, by 2014 in the world there will be over 340 million users of the systems of mobile payments, and the total volume of transactions which will be performed by these users will reach by 2014 245 billion dollars.
