Novatek received an analytical system for job analysis of all group

The IT company (file) completed implementation of an information and analytical system based on the module Cognos Business Intelligence for Novatek company, the largest independent producer of natural gas in Russia which conducts the work in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area.

The decision on automation of process of data collection, necessary for preparation of the report "The analysis and assessment by the management of a financial position and results of activity" (MD&A), was accepted in the company in July, 2007.

According to the customer, the created system allows to reduce and optimize data streams from different divisions and "close" them in a common information space. Thus, a system provides timely collection of information from structural divisions in strictly unified type, automates routine and labor-intensive process of processing and approval of initial data and reporting indicators and also to provide to the management in an evident form the consolidated results of work constructed on key indicators of activity.

Access to the preconfigured summary reports is provided via the web interface. The solution allows to create online of collected in the uniform data warehouse analytical reports in tabular and graphic types, and then data can be analyzed in the different analytical planes (subsidiaries, fields, types of raw materials, etc.).
