Office 365 in Russia will sell Beeline and SKB Kontur - in "cloud"

The Microsoft company intends to start a new cloud solution of Office 365 until the end of 2011 within partnership with VimpelCom and SKB Kontur companies. The new business model assumes inclusion of Office 365 in a service package of these partners for corporate clients who will be able to pay these services in a consumption measure.

Microsoft announced that will start a new cloud solution of Office 365 until the end of 2011 within partnership with the companies "VimpelCom" and "SKB Kontur". Already wrote TAdviser about what such program will shortly earn in Russia.

Thanks to the reached agreements corporate clients VimpelCom and SKB Kontur will receive Microsoft Office applications and also solutions for joint work and the joint communications, having leased them and paying depending on consumption.

, and to the small organizations an opportunity to receive high-performance IT solutions on model of lease and to pay for a consumption measure. Thus, costs for IT and resource requirement decrease, and the efficiency grows", - Nikolay Pryanishnikov, the president of Microsoft in Russia said.


Andrey Patoka, the vice president for development of corporate business VimpelCom, also designates to a product success in business market.

Microsoft Office 365 integrates in himself the desktop application of Office and the solution for effective joint work and the joint communications in the field of cloud computing: Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Lync Online.

Advantages of a new solution consist in its broad functionality allowing the enterprises to carry out the most different tasks, a user-friendly and usual interface of familiar Microsoft Office applications, availability at any time and in any place where there is an Internet, and significant economy of resources.

In global market this program of Microsoft carries the name BPOS Syndication Partner. In particular, it works in Great Britain. Within the program partners (VAR) of Microsoft selling "cloud" BPOS cooperate directly with hosting provider, receiving from it complete billing. Microsoft does not obtain any data on clients at all and practically does not participate in this process.

The first in Europe the status BPOS Syndication Partner was received last summer by the Bristol provider intY. Service allows provider to provide agreements with vendor to the partners essentially new, and those, in turn, can combine BPOS with other cloud solutions.

Approximately in the same time the director of Microsoft of strategy Clare Barclay said that intY will become only one of many providers who will be connected to the program. Separately she noted an opportunity for providers to integrate BPOS into their own offer. Depending on a set of software, such offer can be interesting not only to corporate users (as in a case with BPOS), but also to house subscribers.
