Ampir-Dekor implements protection of corporate documents

Softline held a complex of events for upgrade of a computer system of Ampir-Dekor company. Within this project works on deployment of the Microsoft Windows Rights Management Services (RMS) technology intended for prevention of unauthorized use of the confidential information which is contained in files of electronic documents of the Microsoft Office software package were performed.

Before

Specialists of Softline carried out risks assessment of leak of the commercial information and proposed a number of solutions on their minimization and elimination. As technical solution components the RMS technology as most meeting needs of the client and allowing to prevent unauthorized processing of data was selected.

During the course of performance works the policies of usage of documents defining powers of access to the protected content were implemented there are those actions which the authorized user has the right to execute with the document.

Regulations of security are developed that allowed to provide adequately protection against leak of the commercial information.

Results

Creation of a failover cluster of RMS providing protection of documents and electronic e-mails due to check of competency of a method of data access became a result of the project.
