Kirov Plant uses testing aids of 1C

The project on transfer of the accounting system of the Kirov Plant group to 1C: Accounting 8 was begun in 2008. The customer explains the choice of this software product with the fact that it meets all requirements of the Russian system of accounting, is open for making changes (in particular, according to requirements of the legislation) and has integration mechanisms with other information systems of holding. A project objective — creation of a common information space and automation of basic processes of accounting, tax, production accounting and preparation of the regulated reporting. Besides, a system was designed to help to calculate product cost both in general on the enterprise, and separately on each workshop. SoftBalance company which offered the step-by-step plan of deployment is engaged in its implementation. In 2008 pilot implementation was begun at the Kirov-Energomash plant, and today in the accounting system 150 specialists of accounting, financial and warehouse services work.

As reported, in 2009 the configuration and methodology of conducting accounting and tax accounting were extended to 20 enterprises of holding, and over time it became clear that for maintenance of bases in current status and also carrying out updates were required considerable efforts of IT department. Specialists of SoftBalance recommended to apply tools to the solution of the specified problem '1C: Scenario testing 8', 1C:Enterprise 8 allowing to project and execute tests for check of operability of any system configuration. It includes two subsystems: one is intended for formation of the scenario of the test, the second — for its run (accomplishment both in manual, and in the automatic mode is allowed). For development of tests using this tool there are enough knowledge of work of the tested configuration at the level of the user, skills of programming are not required. The test represents a set of actions which the user should execute. For example, creation of new documents or elements of reference books, filling of a form, clicking of buttons can be them. At an automatic run of such test simulation of work of the user is performed. According to representatives of Kirov Plant, a product '1C: Scenario testing 8' considerably accelerated work on updating of a configuration of 1C: Accounting 8 and 20 bases on its basis.
