Complex of protective constructions of St. Petersburg (TETRA)

The Tetrasvyaz company, the federal operator of services of a professional radio communication, conducted in April, 2011 a training course on work in the system of a professional radio communication and operation of digital radio stations of the TETRA standard for subscribers of the Complex of protective constructions of St. Petersburg from floods (The St. Petersburg dam).

The gained theoretical and practical knowledge will allow subscribers of the Dam to use effectively resources of TETRA network for operational interaction and control of the course of construction works of objects of protective constructions near Kotlin Island. Training was provided by the technical specialists of Tetrasvyaz company having wide experience in administration, service and resource management of TETRA networks. Professional qualification of specialists of Tetrasvyaz is confirmed with the European certificates of the largest suppliers of the infrastructure equipment of the TETRA standard.

Now in a zone of construction of the Complex of protective constructions creation of network of a professional radio communication of TETRA which will provide a radio covering in all territory of an object the Dam, including internal technology premises of water throughput and shipping constructions and also in a transport tunnel under the sea channel which total length is 2 km is conducted. In these constructions for operation of the TETRA radio equipment the unique systems of relaying and gain of radio signals ensuring steady functioning of radio stations even on the maximum mark of a transport tunnel are installed (-24 m).

Subscribers of the St. Petersburg dam are integrated into the Single System of an Operative Trunking Radio Communication (SSOTRC) created by Tetrasvyaz company and integrating all city and departmental services of St. Petersburg on duty. Thanks to integration subscribers of the Dam can establish instant connection with command centers and emergency services of the city that provides efficiency and timeliness of response to any emergencies.
