SDM-Bank implemented the automated processing center

SDM-BANK together with OpenWay company reorganized structure of an internal technology platform and implemented the automated processing center.

Implementation of changes was caused by need of increase in volumes and types of the cards emitted in Bank; quantitative and high-quality expansion of network of terminal devices; development of set of the transactions provided on the plastic card; reduction of a product row in compliance to modern standards and the latest technologies.

The OpenWay company acted as the partner in reorganization of structure and implementation of the automated processing center. The project of updating of the platform of bank lasted year and consisted of two main stages: transferrings to a processing center of WAY4 of an issue component - release and authorization of plastic cards and an acquiring part – reconnection of 150 ATMs, more than 500 Posterminalov, connections of own network of Platform payment terminals numbering over 350 terminals.

Within project implementation clients of SDM-bank already had a number of new opportunities and functions, it:

• active SMS service (an opportunity on demand from the mobile phone to obtain information on the card, and if necessary and to block the card);
• in network of Platform terminals became possible to perform payment for the plastic card;
• there was an opportunity to connect point-of-sale terminals to a processing center;
• due to use PinPad-ov safety of the transactions which are carried out in POS terminals is increased;
• the release of smart cards of Ministry of Railways of VISA is postponed for more modern type of plastic with the VSDC 2.7.1. chip, CVM sheets are corrected
• the technology of collection of ATMs on means of use of cards of collectors is improved

In 2011 SDM-BANK will continue upgrade of the internal systems. In plans of bank implementation of several new projects:

• connection of a processing center of bank to the integrated settlement system (ISS) that will allow to offer to clients of bank more advantageous financial conditions;
• connection to a processing center of bank of vending devices (devices selling Coca-Cola and other fast food);
• payment acceptance for replenishment of accounts of plastic cards in network of Eleksnet terminals;
• opportunity in full to support the VISA International and MasterCard smart cards.

In addition, for the purpose of increase in security of transactions, carried out using plastic cards, SDM-BANK is going to improve a monitoring system of fraudulent transactions by means of implementation of the new module WAY4 OnLine Fraud Monitoring.
