The system of formation of accounting records according to practice of RAS in Uralsvyazinform

Specialists of IBS Borlas implemented the licensed solution "The System of Formation of Accounting Records according to Practice of RAS" in JSC Uralsvyazinform. This development is intended to reduce terms of preparation of the reporting and to simplify work of accounting service of the company.

JSC Uralsvyazinform is the largest operator of telecommunication services of the Ural region. Along with other interregional companies of communication is a part of the state holding JSC Svyazinvest. The company services 3.7 million subscribers fixed and 5.7 million subscribers of mobile communication, 756 thousand users of broadband access and more than 120 thousand subscribers of a pay TV.

In the activity JSC Uralsvyazinform actively uses modern technologies, including a corporate system of management on the basis of E-Business Suite Oracle applications. One of key functions of a system is preparation of accounting records. For the purpose of improvement of this process in the operating system the management of JSC Uralsvyazinform made the decision on the implementing solution IBS Borlas "The System of Formation of Accounting Records according to Practice of RAS".

The essence of the solution implemented in JSC Uralsvyazinform consists that booking data from a corporate information system are loaded into the data warehouse where on their basis according to the qualifiers set by users reports are created. The solution is integrated with management subsystems finance, material flows, personnel. At the same time new forms of the reporting prepare without involvement of developers that, first, does work of accounting of more operational, secondly, saves the company from excess time and labor costs.

The solution known in the market also as Borlas Accounting Reporting System (BARS), is based on technologies of Oracle and is easily integrated with Oracle applications of E-Business Suite of versions 11 and 12. BARS represents a packet of ready reports and the designer of different types of the reporting to a basis of booking data with analytics from subsystems. Its application in a corporate information system allows to reflect in reports red a reversal and correspondence of business accounts. Thereby compliance to practice of RAS is provided, terms of preparation of the reporting decrease, accounting work process is facilitated. Development of such solution became possible thanks to job analysis of accounting services of the Russian companies with the western ERP systems.
