OntargIT completes an implementation project of ERP in Toyota Ukraine company

For project implementation of implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX, "Toyota Ukraine" attracted OntargIT company, the partner Microsoft which specializes in implementing solutions based on Microsoft Dynamics AX and integrates experienced specialists, including in the automotive industry. In December, 2009 the project on process automation of logistics and sale of cars of the Toyota and Lexus brands based on the latest version of Microsoft Dynamics AX (2009) was begun. A logical framework of the project provided automation of the following groups of business processes:

  • Logistics of import, export and internal transfers;
  • Sales management and pricing in dealer network;
  • Support of fleet-sales;
  • Integration with the global Toyota systems (schedule system and sales accounting), with systems * partners - service providers;
  • Distribution of additional costs;
  • Settlings with buyers and suppliers;
  • Creation of the web portal for dealers;
  • Bilateral integration with the existing system of accounting;
  • Creation of a system of the analytical report based on OLAP technology.

Within the project the web portal was also developed for dealer network "Toyota Ukraine" which includes 36 dealer centers for all Ukraine and one center in Moldova. By means of the web portal dealers can manage reserves of cars online.

In October, 2010 it was begun operation of a system: the staff of departments of logistics, sales and finance of the company began to work in a new system, with assistance of specialists of OntargIT.

Georgy Asadchy, chief financial officer of PII "Toyota Ukraine": "Toyota is the dynamic company in the course of continuous improvement. It defined complexity of the project which was characterized by the permanent additional requirements to a system determined by business needs. During project implementation of its frame were significantly increased – import logistics that relationship with dealers was replenished with several new schemes. At some point consultants changed the concept of implementation of one of key business processes – logistics of cars. Development of a system happens continuously. In February the separate project on unification (consolidation) of sales process of cars and spare parts a framework of one base of the latest version of a system ended. At the moment the subsystem of the reporting forms and the corporate portal, in plans of the coming months - support of processes of service (pre-sale preparation of cars, etc.) develops in Microsoft Dynamics AX. Separately I want to note the high professional grade of consultants and the project manager".

Vasilenko Igor, director of consulting of OntargIT company: "The implemented solution for Toyota supports the high level of automation (for example, the mechanism of distribution of cars between car carriers using algorithms of linear programming became the favourite detailed design for the leading developer) and provides expansion of the list of business processes which are supported, for further development of a system. The result became possible thanks to fruitful work of an amicable project team which was from the very beginning focused on result. We had no conflicts at distribution of responsibility – at once began to work according to the principle of operational redistribution of tasks. The sponsor of the Project took part in the project (actively and structurally!) on all project phases, and on start – in the daily mode".

For ensuring quality control of project implementation, "Toyota Ukraine" involved consultants of Ernst&Young company.
