The IT company announced creation for the North Ossetian customs of the telecommunication infrastructure which became a part of the departmental integrated telecommunication network of the Federal Customs Service of Russia. The unrolled infrastructure ensures functioning of staff of customs service of the republic Northern Ossetia-Alania in a common information space that simplifies processes of a customs clearance and customs control.
According to IT, need of creation of a fragment of the FCS of Russia departmental integrated telecommunication network (DITN) was caused by the aspiration to provide effective management of customs authorities and also to accelerate procedures of a design and control on objects of the North Ossetian customs. The project implemented within the federal target program "Frontier of the Russian Federation" started in December, 2010. According to the results of an open competition the contractor selected IT company.
At first specialists of IT executed inspection of objects of customs infrastructure. Following the results prepared the offer on creation of a fragment of VITS and the scheme of the organization of communication with FCS of Russia, developed all necessary design estimates. By April, 2011 telecommunication infrastructure on four large objects of the North Ossetian customs was designed and constructed. It is the Vladikavkaz customs post, a telecommunication node of the North Ossetian customs in Vladikavkaz, the multilateral automobile check point Nizhniy Zaramag and customs clearance station of the Vladikavkaz airport in Beslan.
The unrolled infrastructure includes the following subsystems: structured cabling system of ITSCS; a local computer network based on active network equipment of Cisco; internal telephone network; no break power supply system and grounding of means of communication and automation.
Creation of a complex structured cabling system allowed to provide uniformity and high controllability of subsystems regardless of types of the connected subscriber and active network equipment, says IT. The project provides increase in subscriber capacity of SCS by 25%. The solution can be scaled easily without violation of an interior of premises and a stop of work of personnel as at the same time laying of new cable passages and channels will not be required, emphasized in the company.
Exchange of different information between customs authorities as a part of the North Caucasian management is implemented at the expense of the integrated use of inter-chip digital links using VoIP technology and Cisco routers.
Deadlines, strict observance of the modes of safety of work and territorial remoteness of objects became features of the project. So, to one of them located on border with South Ossetia, specialists of IT reached by 120 km on the mountain gorge. In total more than 50 ports for the automated jobs of staff of the North Ossetian customs service are organized, in buildings and in the territory of objects cable lines of SCS with a total length of 5 km are constructed.
Tamerlan Bitsoyev, the Officer-in-Charge of the North Ossetian customs, the colonel of customs service, so commented on project results: "Specialists of IT company provided the organization of steady access for staff of customs service to a subsystem of departmental telephone communication and a subsystem of data transmission. The created fragment of the departmental integrated telecommunication network is a technology platform for further development of the systems of departmental management, control of workflows and communication".
