Project Description

The warehouse management system Qguar works at the warehouse object of class "A", largest in Ukraine, created by Roshen corporation in Yagotin of Kiev region. Total area – 60 thousand sq.m, capacity - 45 thousand tons

Specific characteristics of an object, namely – the huge area, 90 thousand pallets, 6-level storage and also combination of function of an accumulative finished goods warehouse (20-25 thousand tons) with storage of raw materials for production (20 thousand tons), resulted in need of implementation of the WMS solution for effective management of warehouse processes. The logistic center Roshen is supplied with the Qguar WMS system.

The team of specialists of Quantum International joined equipment of a logistic complex of Roshen the WMS solution at a stage of its design. System implementation passed from August, 2007 to February, 2008. Today, in addition to accounting, Qguar WMS allows to optimize all logistic processes which arise from the moment of acceptance of goods until their shipment. By the time of arrival of trucks on the territory of a complex of Roshen documentation on their filling is already considered and processed. It gives the chance to create the order in advance therefore loading lasts no more than 30-35 minutes. The general time of stay of cargo transport in the territory of the logistic center Roshen does not exceed one hour.

The WMS solution services also work with radio terminals (inventory, acceptance, etc.) and also functioning of two-pallet commission agents, as well as operation of all handling equipment. Qguar WMS allows to distribute tasks for the employees working on the equipment of complexity degree.

Besides, the warehouse management system does effective and work with raw materials – at a large number of articles (including oversized goods) a system helps to optimize work and to reduce costs for their processing.
