The MISYS company announced on February 10, 2014 completion of the transaction on acquisition of IND Group specializing in development of services for channels of remote banking. The IND company which is based in Budapest was founded in 1997 and locates more than 30 clients in the bank industry in eight countries.
The company advances in the market the applications for remote banking based on service-oriented architecture and integrated with the existing core banking system platforms. Award enforcement of IND is intended to improve the user experience of retail clients of banks in retail channels, including due to use of technologies of gamification. The list of clients of IND is wide and includes also participants of the industry, such as UBS, and the players who recently came to the market, - such as Polish bank Alior which is famous for the received awards for the services mobile and Internet banking (for example, Banking Technology Award in category "Services of Internet Banking" in 2012). Other famous clients of IND are banks Belfius, CIB Bank, Erste Bank, UniCredit and the Hungarian[1].
Ve 200 employees of IND will pass to work into MISYS at once, and the IND brand will disappear from the market, being replaced with MISYSS Bank Fusion Digital brand. The head of IND Group will enter the MISYS command as the general remote channels manager. As for technical aspect of merge, Nadeem Sayed noted that the product line will remain, allowing to offer, for example, products for RBS services and to clients with such platforms as Temenos. Thanks to considerable experience of IND in the development area of solutions for the industries of retail banking and trade retail, MISYS, according to him, will expand borders of application of the Midas platform and will be able to increase a covering of services of technical support of the products. As analysts note, the taken place IND absorption by the company will allow it to strengthen considerably the positions in comparison with competitors, having purchased a number of the new, dynamically developing clients of the international level at once.
Let's note that MISYS began partnership with IND company in March, 2013. The main objective of cooperation was to improve kompetentsiyu a range of offers of MISYS to the clients in the field of remote banking ("digital channels"). Nadeem Syed, the head of MISYS, then expressed opinion that now more and more clients see services of Internet and mobile banking as the main, priority interfaces in the communication with banks: "Banks are realized today that in reality of their relationship with consumers are more and more displaced from traditional model aside - on mobile devices and in the direction of multichannel client experience".
