"The Ulyanovsk design office of instrument making" upgrades solutions 1C:PDM to the 2nd version

JSC UKBP, users of a management system for engineering data 1C:PDM, for the purpose of systematic transition to the 2nd version were trained on work with a system.

JSC UKBP is a user 1C:PDM since January, 2007. Use of uniform complex 1C:PDM + "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8" was begun in due form, with data entry in 1C:PDM, i.e. with a circuit of design-technology preparation of production where initial data for production planning form.

The APPIUS company carried out training of the 2nd version 1C:PDM at the enterprise for three main directions:

• specialized rate for the designer;
• specialized rate for the technologist;
• settings and work course of the administrator with system 1C:PDM.

Were trained both the designer and technologists, and group of the IT specialists of JSC UKBP who are directly engaged in system implementation 1C:PDM at the enterprise.

When training designers it was focused on collective work of users of a system with files and documents of structure of a product, editing documents, creation of versions (audits) of design documents, changes of their status. Besides, in a design part of training instruments of creation of the notification on change in detail were considered, both in the Managements of Products interface, and by means of new functionality of the "Editor of executions" allowing is automated to create the notification in the context of applicability of a changeable product.

During training of technologists different versions of the description of manufacturing techniques of a product were considered. Also in more detail the new functionality of creation of group and standard technology processes, the version control mechanism was considered (audits) of elements of technology.

The course of administration of system 1C:PDM was carried out for system administrators and group of implementation. Were in detail considered: mechanism of management of access rights to PDM system elements, creation and editing properties of elements, all most important objects of configuration 1C:PDM. In learning process to administration the possibility of import in 1C:PDM of version 2 of these third-party programs from XML files using the mechanism of object modeling of data "XML Data Transfer Objects" (XDTO) which is built in 1C: Enterprise platform was discussed.

In general, all specialists of the enterprise successfully were trained. According to the results of final testing to the trained users of the 2nd version of a 1C system: PDM issued certificates.
