However, according to the expert, this lag of the companies and state institutions will be promptly reduced. If in 2016 about 26% of sales of the software with AI elements were the share of consumer segment, then by 2025 this share indicator will decrease to 8% though in dollar expression the segment will grow more than 7-multiply, researchers predict. According to them, the specified trend will be expressed that rates of implementation of AI systems in the companies will be above dynamics of growth of consumer market of such software.

In the report it is also noted that by 2017 solution AI begin to get into spheres of real life, and rates of implementation became the highest in the history as startups and IT vendors directed in creation of platforms and niche products for the solution of certain tasks of corporate clients.[1]

2013: $407.3 billion (+4.8%)

The world market of the software grew in 2013 by 4.8% in comparison with an indicator of 2012 to 407.3 billion dollars for the account of distribution of cloud solutions, said in the report of Gartner analytical company.

According to analysts of the company, the industry of software is in a point of cyclic development when the organizations invest in support of existing solutions to maintain the competitiveness in the market. Growth of the world market is caused by development of cloud services and software distribution in "subscription" at present (software as a service, SaaS).

The Microsoft company which sales of software products grew in reporting period by 6% to 65.7 billion dollars remained the leader of the world market of software in 2013.

The second place was taken by the Oracle company which received 29.6 billion dollars in 2013 that there is 3.4% above than the level of 2012.

IBM with proceeds from sales of software in 29.1 billion dollars is in the third place. The highest growth at the end of year was shown by the Salesforce.com company specializing in cloud solutions — its sales increased by 33.3% to 3.8 billion dollars[2].

The first half of the year 2012

The world market of the software in the first half of 2012 grew by 4.7% to 167 billion dollars. It is said in the report of "Worldwide Semiannual Software Tracker" of IDC analytical company published on November 7, 2012.

IDC, considering regional segments of software, it is sure that small braking rendered reserved trends of development in Western Europe where analysts note stagnation and favor to recession on the universal market. This segment occupies about 27% of the world market of software and is the only direction which tests strength in growth in the first half of 2012.

The market of software in the USA to which share about 45% of the universal market of software fall for the reporting period grew by 6.8%. And emerging markets (Latin America, the Pacific region, except for Japan) showed the stable gain similar to 2011. The countries, with the most dynamic markets of development of software IDC counted Colombia, Russia, Philippines, China, Peru and New Zealand.

IDC selects a segment of applications which, according to analysts was one of the most fast-growing (+5.1%), occupying a share about 49% of all industry. Analysts explain such development with growth of CRM-applications. Two other the most dynamically developing directions became: application development and deployments and also the software for the infrastructure systems.

Considering a segment of applications, analysts selected the direction of social applications which grows at two-digit rates that for the world market is not peculiar. So the segment in the first half of 2012 grew almost by 15%.

"More and more companies think of social solutions, methods of management and decision making using the applications integrated with systems replacing social networks", - the manager on a research of corporate social networks and technologies of joint work of IDC Vanessa Thompson told. "Now in the companies it is possible to notice a tendency to expansion of opportunities of exchange or transfer of content between employees and clients and transition to new technologies".

Among the corporate IDC applications selects the CRM direction as the only thing which twice increased the indicators. The directions of services, marketing and sales grew approximately by 12%, and the segment of provision of services of contact centers could not reach two-place indicators.

At the same time, IDC considers the direction of virtualization the most fast-growing segment of world software. So the direction of virtual machines and cloud computing grew by 17.8% while the direction of virtualization of computing systems of the client practically doubled the indicators. It, of course, is slightly lower, than indicators of the previous three years, however, analysts are sure that digits for the first half of the year 2012 also look impressively.

"The direction of virtualization continues to remain one of the most fast-growing which has a stable gain. However, it is possible to note some deceleration in mature markets where the saturation level is higher, than in other countries", - the research manager of the cloud systems and software of the systems of virtualization of IDC Hary Chen told.

IDC expects that in 2012 rapid growth of the industry will begin to slow down and will pass to more conservative unambiguous indicators of development. Analysts warn that profit for 2012 will be lower, than in 2011 and 2010.
