ASD S1000D (S1000D)

Practically all new programs in the field of aircraft adapt under S1000D, including projects from Airbus and Boeing. Besides, accessories to these industries should be equipped with the accompanying documentation prepared according to the S1000D standard too. The Russian producers should conform to the S1000D standard to have an opportunity to export the products – finished products or component parts to them.

In several years the Russian market closely will approach that moment when application of the standard becomes universal and obligatory not only for defense industry, an avia - and shipbuilding, but also for other areas, for example, construction of nuclear power plants.

The international standard ASD S1000D was a methodology framework on the basis of which the Russian GOST 2.051-2006, 2.601-2006, 2.602-2006 were processed. According to its requirements, coding in different options a large number of information units is subject. So, the code of the module of data has from 17 to 37 characters, the information code – 3 characters, the code of the section – from 6 to 9 characters, the check code of an illustration – to 45 characters, the code of the module of the publication – 6 characters.

The ASD S1000D standard is based on an extensible markup language of XML in which unambiguous identification of information units requires distinctive information or the code. Therefore unique names, as well as information which is in the module of data should have all files of modules of data and an illustration.
