2023: FMBA, commissioned by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, has developed antidotes to toxic substances

Federal Biomedical Agency (FMBA) developed new antidotes to toxic substances and other drugs. The head of the FMBA reported on this project Russia Veronika Skvortsova to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin on June 15, 2023.

In parallel, our scientific unit for the RCBZ troops [troops of radiation, chemical and biological protection - approx. They are all in a convenient form, in pre-filled syringes, and quick introduction through the mouth - in fact, a new styling, which we made by order of the Ministry of Defense, - said the head of the FMBA.

According to her, by mid-June 2023, the laying, made by order of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, is already ready, it is very convenient to use. It has all the main things - "both from chemical and radiation factors," said the head of the FMBA.

In addition, clinical studies of two new universal drugs for antidote therapy for toxic pulmonary edema and toxic convulsive syndrome are beginning, Skvortsova emphasized on June 15, 2023.

In August 2023, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that the Russian military, performing tasks in the Vasilyevka area of ​ ​ the Zaporizhzhya region, were hospitalized with signs of severe poisoning. According to the ministry, the poisonous substance botulinum toxin type "B" was found in the body of the soldiers. The ministry did not name the number of soldiers who were poisoned, and also did not specify in what condition they were.

At the end of February 2023, the founder of the private military company (PMC) Wagner, Yevgeny Prigozhin, said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) use poisonous substances against the Russian military, distributing them using ammunition and drones.[1]
