Architecture client-server
Architecture the client-server - a network architecture in which the interacting devices are either clients, or servers. The architecture the client-server - can be applied both to physical devices, and to the software how logical application components between clients and servers are distributed.
The architecture the client-server consists of the following principal components:
- the database server - the device managing storage, access, protection and also data backup;
- the application server - the device executing certain business rules;
- the client - the device providing a user interface;
- the network and the communication software are the equipment, data transmission channels and the software performing transfer of requests and answers between the client and the server by means of network protocols.
The architecture the client-server allows to optimize distribution and protection of computing resources.
